N'eussent pas au marché fait vendre le dormir
Comme le manger et le boire.

The bus left at eleven as scheduled. The trip to Pensacola was quiet, it was as if everybody was exhausted by the heat and the humidity. We drove through the night in silence and conditioned air. We arrived at 3:30 in the morning. I traded my Greyhound seat for another seat at the bus depot, until the sun rose. As soon as it got light I made my way to a eastbound highway. The first ride I got was excellent, the driver even gave me $5.00 to help me out! I arrived in Jacksonville in the evening and went to the Salvation Army. I did have any money left so I asked the man at the desk if there was labour work available. He gave me a list of temporary agencies where I could go to ask.
