I woke up at 1 pm. I felt rested. I had a quick breakfast before going out to see the area. I walked north until I reached English Bay Beach. The water was nice. It did not take me long to realize that Vancouver is THE most wonderful, THE most beautiful city in the whole country. The sun is shining, there are beaches all over and everybody is relaxed. It feels like another world.

Laurie came back from work a little bit later and we had supper. He was in the process of repainting his whole apartment. I volunteered to help. All the floors were the colour of red brick.
